Visited Berry College this weekend. It’s been voted one of the most beautiful campuses in America and I understand why.
From the gothic architecture of the Ford Complex to the mountain campus that includes trails and beautiful structures rich in history such as Frost Chapel.
Hollywood has taken note as well. Most recently, scenes from the new TV show The Following were filmed here in 2012.
Beautiful place, even on a rainy, cold day.

If you ever find yourself with a free Saturday in Georgia, you should add Juliette, Georgia to your list of day trips.
The town is best known for being the filming location for Fried Green Tomatoes back in 1991. When filming wrapped, the sets were left standing and turned into a tourist district.
To this day you can still get some scrumptious fried green tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe (pictured here).

If you’ve ever been to Graceland, you know you can leave messages on the wall in front of Elvis’ home.
Each time I visit I take photos of the sweet, funny and meaningful messages left there by his fans
This is one of my favorites.

Being Southern often means appreciating the beauty of life and keeping things simple.
This man (or his family) understood the beauty of simplicity.
My favorite epitaph of all time…Dr JJ Subers epitaph in Rose Hill Cemetery, Macon, GA
“Been here and gone
Had a good time”
